How do I set my computer so that I can see both on the pc screen and the TV-screen in Windows XP???

I have the latest drivers for my geforce ti500.

I cant see on both screens at the same time and I am sick of having my girlfriend shout mousepointer directions from te living room when we are going to see a movie thats on the PC but displays on the TV.

Please teach me how to have twin view!

Ok you are trying to get the display on your monitor onto a tv is what I'm getting?

Or are you trying to get a seperate display onto your tv so ou can watch a movie and paly a game?

The latter is not easily possible if at all,and not with your current setup for sure.

Now to simply have whats on your monitor show up on your tv is pretty simple, but I dont think your geforce 3 ti 500 has the tv out connection needed to do it.

That card is already getting ancient at around 2 years old, youre 3 video card generations behind heh.

What you need is a video card with a tv out s-video connection.

These cards are already pretty cheap for an older one.

I'd say get a good geforce 4 ti 4600,it has what you need, and it will increase youre performance ALOT (depending on what else is in your system)and it sells for around $180 these days.

Once you ahve that video card you simply connect the tv to the s-video out and you set the display to twin view or whatever its called in the nview menu under dispaly settings and it sohuld work.

hrumph....dont mess with my geforce 3 ti500 ;)

It has TV out and all, and i know how to show the screen on tv.

What i want to do is to show the same thing on the TV as on the Computer screen at the same time.

I have looked everywher but there is no twin view button.....maybe cause the card is too old but it I dont think so.
