U2 in SL - NSS is FILMING AGAIN

Hey guys, I just finished up the shoot with U2 in SL and viewing the well done U2 av's created by DarkDarma. Was at their event and wanted to show eveyrone how well done they are, while also promoting One.org. Here's the direct link

If you're legitimately promoting one.org (which I think is a terrific cause), have you considered contacting the real U2 to use their images and copyright?

U2 in SL is promoting ONE (http://www.one.org) and DATA (http://www.data.org), that's why Bebop included it in his video. Thanks for that, Bebop! And yes, U2 in SL got in touch with U2 and these organizations and got very positive feedbacks.

U2 in SL doesn't make any profit with their events, it's quite the opposite, they are investing lots of time and money. For more information check out DarkDharma's posting about U2 in SL /120/9d/50320/1.html

That is awesome, Demian... if you could get "officially approved by U2 and One.org" that could:
(a) Give you some big-time street cred and be able to raise more money
(b) Give some major publicity to SL

Hiro, neither U2 in SL nor ONE.org or DATA.org are raising any money! This is not about fund raising but raising awareness for a cause, or even an emergency, and about getting ONE million people to sign the declaration on those websites! It's about fighting poverty and AIDS in Africa and worldwide.


U2 in SL didn't have that in mind, but could very well be.



Thanks for the offer! Yes, you could do one thing to start with. Check out DATA.org and ONE.org and sign the declaration, and tell all your friends, co-workers and family members about it. Listen to U2 music and rock on! <LOL>

Right, but you may want to speak with some of the fundraising organizations in SL (VERTU for instance) and see what opportunities you could have. In addition, one.org does have the bracelets.

If I can help, I will. I can do event planning, some building, scripting (on a small scale, very busy hehe), publicity, or even just donate prizes for giveaways / auctions, etc.
