Ok i'm really confused! I think I need Phil to answer this... but i'll give it a shot in here. Ok before last night I thought that every rating gets you 100$ a week. Am I right? because yesterday I checked my Account history, and projected amout for next week... My taxes are at 5000$ but my bonus + stip = to 4500... but i have a rating of over 85... so doesn't that mean I should be ok? (not in the red) I should be fully covered for taxes around 9000... am I wrong?

I just checked next week's predictions and find that my total maintenance equals, exactly, my stipend plus ratings bonus. So, in effect, next week I'm breaking even. No extra money, but no loss.

Cambridge : if your funds are over 3,500 then yes it is very normal.

Your ratings determine what percentage of the "pool" you can draw from. otherwise, if the pool was very small, only the top people would get any ratings bonus, because we would run out of funding before to long. So Nexus - no, you shouldn't be able to go to 9k. It looks like 4.5k is your max, and you are going to draw all of it. Don't worry to much - you shouldn't have to much problem covering the last $500. And if nothing else, you could sell some land. _____________________

So... the rating system draws from a giant pool that everyone gets money from and everyone draws a percentage? Please help me if I am wrong.. Just tryin to understand

You seem to get it Skippy.
The ratings bonus is your way to claim a larger share of the general pool. Random guess using fake numbers: Half the money is divided evenly to make up the stipend. The other half is divided proportionate to your ratings score. The higher your ratings the more of this portion you get. |
