We had our ratings reduced to only those we got in the previous 6 months but since the first rating cut, I havent lost a single rating since then.

LL are you still decaying ratings 6mos & older? If so it isnt reflected in my account. And if ratings are no longer decaying then wtf?? Reimbursement time.

It's a bug. They know about it.
(speaking of bugs, when will they fix our duplicate inventory folders?)

What do you mean, duplicate inventory folders? What are they? And what's wrong with them?

Do we still have ratings? How about dwell? Do we still have dwell?

Wait I have another question. Do we still have those leader board thingys? How do you access those?

Are you making fun of me? That's the sort of thing that inspires people to not ask questions, and not learn more. I will never not ask questions for fear of being considered stupid.

Me? No. I hadn't even read the thread when I replied.

I will never post again for fear of offending someone who posted in the thread before me.

Okay now I am making fun. Sorry.

You can access the leader board via the menu (the one at the top)

I have duplicates of the undeletable linden folders... notecards, textures, etc...
I'm not the only one. It was some problem they had when they added a new inventory server.

Oh. I was thinking you meant where I click the thing and get a new inventory window, to work with two windows at once, and I never had a problem with it.

I'm glad I don't have your problem. It's a small thing, but it would drive me crazy!

Crisis averted!

So it's a bug? That's a damn shame.

Fuhahaha maybe one day we'll wake up and instead of ratings we'll finally have doodle panels. I really want those. :(

Somone made a working prim one. I forget who, but Tayzia Abitoir had it out in the Crescent Moon Museum for a few days (coudln't keep it long cause it uses prims to draw the lines and that's a lot of prims) which is where I saw it. So ask her about it if you're interested. There's one with a pencil and one with a paintbrush.

A few Linden dollars says... Starax Statosky? Thanks for the pointer!

What I don't get is why we have collaborative 3D building but something simple like MS paint in SL hasn't really come of age yet. Retrograde I suppose.

I thought of Starax too, but didn't want to mis-atribute it. And you're welcome :)

I know that there are Java and other web applets that let you do colaberative whiteboard stuff, maybe they would work in the 1.7 browser? And perhaps later when web-on-a-prim comes to be?

Yeah... maybe so. What I'm thinking is along the line of interchangeable utility modules, perhaps extensible by scripting (be it LSL or Mono, whatever we have down the road), just an easy way to change our environment more. I can think of lots of collaborative instances (like basic planning) in which it'd be handy to slap down a quick sketch as opposed to drawing it out and uploading a texture, which is uneditable and slowww.

All of this is speculation but really worth considering. Hey, it's art!

Oh, and about ratings, I haven't gotten progressive decay and I will confirm that. After the initial drop-off, nothing else fell off.
