From: Lordfly Digeridoo 1) where are you going to put the sign?
All around the property enought to be seen from all angles. From: someone 2) how big does it have to be? Big enought to be seen from a good distance away From: someone 3) how many of them should they have? As many as it takes to be seen from all along the border or a few very large signs that lets everyone know this land is off limits. From: someone 4) What should the warning say? Keep out Do not enter Whatever it takes to convey the message this land is restricted From: someone 5) From what directions should the sign be visible? From all directions necessary From: someone 6) Define "rez quickly" Probably a device that uses a single prim with a texture. From: someone 7) How would you make a prim rez quicker than any other prim?
LF By not loading any script into it and keeping the texture simple. This is a very good bill. It is a common sense bill. And it will cut way down on the number of accidental intrusions of property.

From: Magnum Serpentine It is a common sense bill. If it were common sense, we wouldn't need the "law" the bill represents. And I agree with Lordfly, it's too vague. I can see where you're going with this, but if you're going to ask for a change to the TOS, you need to find a way that makes minimal impact on people while still acheiving the goal. Too much wiggle room weakens it and opens the potential for effects not intended.

This is a very good bill. It is a common sense bill. And it will cut way down on the number of accidental intrusions of property. So, what landowners need, in order to make their land non-accessible, is to make a huge wall around their property, that says "KEEP OUT" in giant, block letters. That's a lot of prims, when instead they could just make a script that says "hey, you have 10 seconds to leave this property before i kick you out". LF

I am sure the lindens will see to it that owners will know what is expected of them if they use property restriction devices

LF That too is a sign. A script that tells people they have 1 minute to clear out is with-in the scope of the warning act

LF Good point. I tried to incorporate all your suggestions into the Warning Sign Act II Prop 230
