The best way to make money?

Hi, im a newbie at this game (this is my second day playing).

Im in a groupp of 5 that are noobs too so we dont know who to make money in a good way.

The things we can do are:

Make shirts
Modeling/skinning
Maybe scripting

Any idéas how to make some money? We are building our empire so we need alot of money

you can sell clothing, but unfortunately there aren't any protections for it at the moment... as soon as one person buys it, they could theoretically either copy it and give it to their friends, or even resell it, keeping the profit for themselves. the same goes for scripting. we have asked for better texture/clothing/script permissions, and i've heard that it may be in the pipeline, but as of yet, i wouldn't advise relying on selling those as a primary source of income. however, if you're interested in selling that kinda stuff, feel free to make it and prepare it to sell, so that as soon as better permission controls are implemented, you can sell them and make bank

modeling is probably the most profitable. with this, you can model items, and then lock the objects. a bonus to this is, when you lock the object, it also locks the object's textures and scripts. for example, yuniq made a variety of guns... carefully hand-modeled and textured them, then took the generic popgun script and totally reworked it to make an elegant, easy-to-use gun script, and rolled it all together and locked the objects, so customers could buy the guns but not modify them or copy/view the textures or scripts, thus ensuring only she profited. however, she's out of the arms business now... perhaps if you contact her she can give you more pointers on making money... if you look at the leader board, she's at or near #1 for net worth, and has been there for some time
