Transfer to Teen Grid

A friend of mine recently joined and he was put onto the teen server. When I joined, I put my age as 18 although in reality I am younger. I just figured they would check and not allow the credit card transaction to go through if you were under 18.

So anyways - my friend talked to some people and told me that I would be able to be transfered. I contacted one of the Linden staff and told them my situation, and before I could even ask a few questions she just said This will take a couple of days. here goes.

And boom - I was logged off and put on the waiting list.

Now, my problem.

I am still on my 7 day trial. I am not wasting most of it waiting to be transfered to another server. I am still discovering SL and deciding if it is worth the membership fee.

I have a few questions that one of the Linden workers couldn't take the 30 seconds to answer.

Will my objects all remain with my account on the new server?
Will the transfer infact take a few days, or will it be quicker?

And what is different about the teen server besides the age group?

Umm, from what i have read...

1) You won't be able to transfer your posessions between the two grids.
2) The teen grid is a lot smaller, and they seem to have a lot of linden created communal spaces that they hang out in, creating a more cohesive community structure. It sounds similar to the early main grid.

As for the transfer time, I have no idea how long it would take them. I know that TG to main grid is often over night, but since you are technically on a waitign list, I have no idea how long it will take.

I'm fairly sure of this -- there was a thread that was talking about it.

Anyway, I have no idea how long it might take to transfer. Seeing as it's a weekend, I'd say at least Monday or Tuesday.

I don't know about transferring items from the Main Grid to Teen Grid but I do know that you do bring your full inventory from the Teen Grid to the Main Grid once you have reached 18 and made the transfer.
