Once again logic prevails... honestly siggy, why did you have to chime in so fast? We could have had a 17 page flamefest! *sighs*
Now, with exclamation points I belive the limit is 5. Otherwise you're just being a douche. Or maybe you're doing a subtle satire of the absurdity of multiple punctuation. After all, it just ends the sentence... so any more than one just means that you're insecure about the finality of your argument. Or you're just stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _____________________

Though, to answer your question, it's an hyperbolic parody of the online-gamer's-inability-to-type-properly-in-the-heat-of-battle-or-maybe-they-just-suck-at-typing-in-general phenomenon. As for etiquette, use in moderation (as with most things), and place where mocking emphasis is required. |
