Did you happen to notice the thumbnails are gone? You can still click on dots on the map to see a picture, but they are not being cycled as three pics on the front page anymore. I wonder if they will return once the free account promo has ended?

I certainly hope they do, it was kind of nice seeing those shots at the bottom of the screen of different things going on In World. Clicking on the green dots is easy, but it is a lot easier to see the last 3 shots taken in world.

Actually, once the link was put sideways next to the pictures, the traffic from secondlife.com dropped off by about 90% anyway compared to when there was the snapshot promo thing on the front page, so that part's not a big loss.

I notice now even the one big picture in the left hand is gone, something titled "sad". When I clicked on its little x in a box, it took me to that sign up page again.

I liked the the three home page pictures, I breeze by there often to see how many people are in world and catch the three snapshots.
Usually I'm just passing through and I don't want to click on anything. Just showmeum.
The video reminds me of the streetcorner cameras in Toronto. You can walk up to the street camera and perform, preach, complain, or just make an ass of yourself and they show selected clips on TV between commercials.
Mostly, people make fools of themselves in front of a street camera, why would it be any different in SL.
