Is the sensible thing to do with your votes to spread them around or to put all of them on the thing you like most that seems most likely to get accepted so that it does get accepted which woud then cause you to get your votes back to use on the next most wanted item?
Perhaps a vote or two should be used to keep an idea alive till other more popular things get selected and the votes returned but most votes go towards the one thing you like most that is most likely to get selected?

Good question. I decided not to vote for things I want that are already near the top of the list and instead spent them on good ideas that I thought could more use the boost.

Perhaps a vote or two should be used to keep an idea alive till other more popular things get selected and the votes returned but most votes go towards the one thing you like most that is most likely to get selected? If some feature or bug fix is *very* important in the very near future you should put more than one vote on it. However if there is an idea out there you like, and is important to you to be implemented in the nearest future you can also keep it alive with your vote, or spread your votes among some of the proposals that are important to you in the nearest future. The important thing to remember is the system set up to show priority, ie what you want in the next minor/major release, not what you want SL to have eventually. So if you come up with a great feature, or see one, and there are most likely many, DON'T vote on it. When it becomes important enough either move votes to it / re-create it/ add votes released to it. Remember if your priorities change you can always remove votes from a proposal and add it to another, so you should always use all 10 votes, there is no reason to save them for some latter cool idea.
