Gay, lesbians rally from Governor's Mansion to Capitol
On June 5, Perry signed legislation to put on the ballot a proposed amendment defining marriage as being between a man and a woman. He then was asked how he would tell gay and lesbian veterans coming home from war that they can't marry.
"I'm going to say Texas has made a decision on marriage," Perry replied, "and if there's a state with more lenient views than Texas, then maybe that's where they should live."

Just who in the hell does Gov. Perry think he is? I say, let's smite the mofo with a gay invasion. Rather than having returning military gays relocate to other "more lenient" states, we instead invite gays and lesbians, from across the nation and the world, to re-locate to Texas. Strength in numbers, right? Hell, if Spain can legalize gay marriage then I say Texas can at least learn to live with us. Dammit, we're here, we're queer, get used to it already.
