A Request

Okay,

I hate this kind of thing, I think it is in someways a little tacky. . .

But, I had to go ahead and put out a donation box for my Carnival in Stanford.

My whole hope and thoughts for SL was that I should be able to generate money from the entertainment I bring to the world.

Well, thru either laziness or complication, I haven't gotten a reliable carnival wide pay system in place for the rides. I've also had some people complain about not being able to ride the rides when I am not there. I'm working on an armband system to pay for the rides, but it's been slow going.

I'm gonna make the rides activatable by anyone who comes to the carnival, even if I am not there. . . I just ask that if you like(d) the rides, either in the near future when you ride the rides, or in the recent past when I've given you a ride for free, please make a donation.

I was unexpectedly removed from SL for about 2 weeks. My bonus dropped and so now, I'm at basically a balanced state and am having trouble continuing the creation of the Carnival. If you like what you are seeing, and would like to see more, well, you know. . .

Anyway, sorry for the blatant nature of all this. As soon as I get a reliable pay system in place, I'll take down the donation box.

This is what I can donate: If you need help with a system of payment contact me in game.

I can even set you up with a token system. This is trickier because I don't want it opened. Essentially they would buy tickets or tokens from me and the ticket / token would pay you each time its used. Your end would be a pad / coin reader that I set up for you and shouts commands on a channel of your choice. Like I said, trickier to set up. Use is easy - they buy a token and drop it on a reader. I can even use a custom designed token if you want.

I can set you up with some simpler and still fairly sophisticated accounting / payment scripts as well if you are interested.

I had thought of a token system, but that seemed more complicated than doing armbands, so I gave up.

btw oneiro if by "balanced" you mean you are seeing that your bonus equals your taxes, dont worry, it shows that for everyone else, unless they are below 3500 (and gaining bonus money) or paying so much taxes that they lose money every week.
