Alternate SL Interface Designs?

I was just thinking it might be interesting to see people's ideas for alternate user interfaces for second life. One could take SL screenshots as needed and doctor them up in their program of choice. I don't mean just different colors but instead things like alternate layouts for the build editor, different ways of displaying the IM window, gesture editors, etc.

UI Skins...whatta brilliant idea! Like Winamp, let the users create them...that would be cool.

Eggy, I don't recognize that, is that the open source metaverse or SL in an early version or what?

Anybody have the separate interface elements such as the prim icons or numeric entry fields and increment triangles available to share?

That's what SL looked like in alpha. The avatars are the old "primitar" model, made completely out of prims. :)

Pete Fats "reskinned" the interface a while back. Hopefully he will post a pic!

I believe his version only worked at an incredibly high resolution though, as for some reason some buttons aren't skinned at lower resolutions.

I personaly would love to be able to skint hings.
