Help! I'm not getting my stipend!

*cry*

I usually get my stipend on Wednesdays. The last couple of weeks my account history has displayed "Week starting March 19th, 2003", "Week starting March 26th, 2003", etc. But this week, instead of switching over to "Week starting April 2nd, 2003" as I expected, it's not switching!

With each passing day the thing just says "Week starting <1 week prior to today's date>"... It's always showing 1 week ago instead of switching over to a new week.

I'm a hurting for my stipend!!!



I sent an email to [email]support@lindenlab.com[/email] but no reply yet.


If there are any Linden's reading this post, I'd really appreciate it if someone could check out my account and see what the problem might be.

this happened to phaylen but she got it the next day, so if you just wait another day you should get your stipend then =)

i think it's some weird bug in the system, dunno yet.

Hehe... Well it was due on Wednesday so you can understand my sadness each day of "waiting another day".

Hang on, I got no bonus this week! I have a 39 reputation, 28 apperance... no more than 513 dollars a week? Please I thought there were no humans in this government! Corruption!!

its an auto feature, to prevent obscene amounts of money hoarding. Once u hav 3500, u get only the amount of money to cover taxes. Anything extra goes into credit. Any extra amount spent (on official things like buying land, and rezzing) gets deducted from that. The good thing about this is that if one week u dont get all your stipend, but burn it all on something, u wont go into debt the next week, it justs decucts credit (not sure exactly how credit is transfered week to week though). Although if im wrong about this, please feel free to enlighten me, bad information is almost as bad as none at all.

I usually get paid Thurs. This week, on my payday it said the prior thursdays date. Fri it changed to the prior Fris date. Thats where it sits and it appears something isnt updating. I usually dont see cash coming in so its hard to tell whats what but something doesnt look right.

Tonight I reluctantly deleted some stuff I've been working on to get some cash back, but before then I literally had less than $100 all week. So I definitely wasn't falling into the 3500+ category.

Well my experince is just the opposite. I got my second one last night, I had about $200-500 and after the stipend I had $3500. I have property a building ontop of it and still made about $3000! I thought the most I could get was $1000 plus bonuses and such.

hehe.. no worries.. hope you don't think I was bitchin' at you, Asher, cause I wasn't... I am aware of the $3500 thing though, just pretty sure I don't fall under that rule (yet).

Still no sign of the stipend tonight so I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow when hopefully a Linden can look into my account.

Could a Linden pleeeease look into this for me? And at least tell me "we're looking into it" or "you weren't even supposed to get a stipend, idiot", or SOMETHING, heh..

I'm sure it'll get figured out soon enough. I've contacted them through all the correct channels so I'm sure once whoever it is at Linden who deals with this stuff drinks some coffee, or a redbull, my request will be looked into. (Hoping).

Deeblue - according to the transaction log you got a stipend worth L$4452 on Tursday the 3rd, more than enough to pay off your taxes of L$3458. If isn't showing up in your viewer's account history, it's almost certainly just a display bug. You should get another stipend on Thursday.

Hmm.. I really didn't notice any sizeable amounts of money coming in. I definitely would have the noticed the $1000 after my tax deduction since I was literally running on pocket change for a few days there. I've been basically broke for the past week apart from bits of cash here and there I've been digging up by deleting my objects and releasing land that I was only half using. *Hopes those objects didn't go fully public yet, hah*

What was the issue with the date displaying incorrectly? I seem to remember it used to only show the beginning date of the account week. Mine was changing day to day? Should it have stayed fixed or has that been changed in recent client upgrades?

It's just really difficult to be absolutely sure what's happening with your account when the display is acting all crazy on you. Quite confusing.
