Good Morning, Good Evening All;

I live on the east coast and SL is open to log on from 3pm to 3am. (time I began this message; 3:32am) My job hours are 7am -3pm so usualy I rush home log on and my family is left to fend for themselves. I have been known to even eat at my computer just so I could continue on in game projects. Thats not realy working for me as I am usualy exausted after a long day.

My job is not physicaly demanding just takes a lot of serious thought threw out the day. Those who know me know that even my fingers stop working correctly after say 5pm est. lol.

I have been struggling the last few days to find time in my schedule to fit the schedule of SL. As I have also been struggling with a cold a 3 hour nap nearly made me miss my dear friend Feys wedding. I woke up in the nick of time. Attended the wedding and went back to bed for another 3 hours before I had to go to my 1st Life job. That was very rough. But I enjoy SL very much and realy wanted to be at the wedding.

Another day passes and I go to work come home and play for a bit, now I am falling asleep at the keyboard around 6pm. Ahhhhh time to try something new so I can fit this SL into my 1st life. Its all about balance

So last night I went to bed at 6:30pm after only about 2 1/2 hours of play time

I hated to log off so early but I was falling asleep. I had this plan that I would wake up at 2am and play until 5 or 5:30am. Well I finaly staggered to the computer at what? 3:10am and yup you guessed it TEN MIN TOO LATE

So here I sit at now 3:45am asking that something be done for the east coast players. On my days off I have to wait till 3pm to log on. As I like to go out for dinner or a movie on my weekend nights this also limits my time even when I have days off. Now I understand this is beta and the hours are limited. I just wanted the lindens to realy see how hard this is for anyone with a job on the east coast. The thing is that if I log on before 3am I can stay on from 3am to 3pm and play after hours if I want to which would work on my days off. BUT logging on 10 min late means I cannot log on for 12 more hours. That just makes no sence to me. I would much rather see the game unoffically be open for 24 hours. Cant it just be taken down for a couple hours here and there during the day as needed to do any maintence required? Seems like a solution that would help everyone in all time zones.

Well I guess I will open a graphics program and play with that since I am now awake. For the record I would much rather be playing SL right now than talking about how I cant in the forums.

I am on the east coast too. I guess they will go live soon and you can be on whenever. (I hope.)

I have the same thing kinda. I work during the day and the schedule isn't too bad but I'm dead tired when I get off of work. I have noticed that all events in the game are always based around PST. Is this the only known US time available for this game? When will the game be patched next? It's been a month I believe since the last patch and still the same hours of operation. 3pm sucks let's bump it up 3 more hours at least. Also working on a pill or vitamin that will allow you to feel perfectly rested when taken. Non habit forming too but for now I can reccommend taking a bunch of B Vitamin, it helps to give you more energy.

I'm in the UK so for me SL hours are currently 8pm - 8am. I can usually get in 3 hours before I really need to get some sleep, otherwise I'm useless at work the next day

Still, at least I don't have to wait til midnight like a few weeks ago! I did a some 12am - 3am stints back then, just so I could get to a building class and a couple of socials, wiped me out for a good few days afterwards!

More hours can't come soon enough for me either *sigh*
