I got to say it’s not as good as UO but the fact it’s a one time fee it makes it better then UO. LOL

I'm very tempted to purchase it. Love the idea of the one time fee, though that makes me wonder how well it will be supported in the future.

So is it actually something like EQ/UO game play? Runnin around killing things, questing, etc??

I know it mentions solo play...

I'm not crazy about it.. I much prefer eq2 and the graphics...as well as the interface.

It will be supported by buying expansions every so often, from what I understand of it.

Yeah its similar to those, but it has a component of PvP that is seperate from the Role-playing part of it and you have a main city and a few outpost type places. When you leave those places you enter an Instance where it is only you and anybody else you take with you, no other players are there.

P.S. I just read in an interview that major new content will have to be bought, but any improvements to the game engine will be free. Also they will have Observation Mode so people can watch PvP matches.

are you guys still in the beginning or are you in the future yet?

I'm still in the begining, but probably will go into the future soon.

I have a level 7 in the beginning still and a level 7 in the future. I didnt read anything about the game and I went to the future as a level 4 (ouch!) but someone was nice enough to help me. I also stopped playing on that character, made a new one and leveled that one up in the pre-game. Which was great because last night I went back and took the level 4 to a 7 since my skills and understanding of the game is better.

OK I am about Ranger/ Mesmer 3/4 of the way to level 9. I am still in Pre and don’t have a plain to leave YET! I am staying for my friend who has not had time to play last week and is only at level 4 Elementalist/Necromancer. He said he will be able to play more this week. So we will go do most of his Quest together (I think). This will let me work on money (I don’t get much in the way of XP any more at this level. I did go over the wall yesterday and finished it by my self (the guy I went with left ) I then went back last night to help a person do it and we cleaned out all the Char from it. Took us a long time but hay I am almost level 9 now I am Ombra Lupo in there (Shadow Wolf)

I want to go over the wall, I hear there is a lot of good killing there and I want over 1K in gold when I go to the future. I am also waiting on a friend to level up so we can go to the future together. I love the killing in the future, so I am anxious to get across the wall.


If you have already been there and it is unlocked on your character can I go with you but still keep it to play with my friend?

“Across the wall” is a pre–searing quest. I have done that one about 4 times. Only once did I get some good kills. I would like to get a party of some one level 7 or higher and a few people that are level 4 or more to go with. If 2 of use are level 7 or more then we can do the more damage and take more and the level 4 or more can get some major XP to help the level better. So what I am saying is you can go with me over the wall if you want and your friend can come too but with no problem of leaving the nice safe pre-searing world.

To get out of the gate you need 2 or more people. One to open the lever and one to run out when the gate opens. If you have 2 people you can do that one as many times as you want just with out a quest.

Well I'm a level 16 Elementalist, so if you guys need some help on quests (in post), let me know, I'll be happy to help.

Yeah I knew it wouldnt knock me out of pre-searing, but I didnt want to go over without my friend if going over meant that he would miss out on some Xp points. But if thats not the case...

Ohh pre-searing I am a R/Elem 8 with a level 8 pet

I think I am a level 8 in the future also now.

Most likely I can’t get on till around 8 or 9 tonight. I am Central Time, so in about 5 or 6 hr from now. Bring your friend with. They can sit and get the points have fun too!! There is a rez place and pre-searing is no penalty for dieing.

So two Level 8 Rangers with Level 8 pets. Ya we can get some work done. Get one more level 7 or more fighter and then maybe your friend and mine who are low levels and we can all Level up.

I just read today that the Prince has a few more Quest for you in Pre-searing and one is over the wall. I need to do that one today. If I do his quest I may just hit level 9 tonight.

The Across the wall quest has you go get a Ranger. We can go get him and use him as one more person to fight with us. Even if he dies no big because we can always do it again to get you and who ever the quest completion.

I went into the future a couple of days ago. Level 7 Necromancer/Ranger, Count Dargothe.

I have post searing W/E level 10 and presearing E level 8 still havent decided on secondary for the elemetalist and would like to go over the wall hunting. My Elementalist is Silver Twilight. Ive been thinking Ranger for the secondary but have hear alot of cons on that anyone try that combo yet?

Sparkle what is your name in pre-searing? I would like to go back over the wall. you can only take 2 people which sucks. Those monsters are pretty tough and you can't get good armor in the beginning, but I am going to log back in now.
