Oh Crap! I've done and I didn't even get a chance to confirm, whether or not I really wanted to or not. I thought I would have gotten another screen that would have prompted me to be sure I wanted to authorize the $160.00 charge. Nope! Oh well. I hope this game does not tank in less than a year or I'm screwed more than I was with Motor City Online, Indy Race Series Online and Earth and Beyond. Well, not really the same unless it tanks in less than one year(since I paid for those $12.99 month to month for a year now.) Please people. Can I have some love? Please make me BELIEVE that I made the right decision here. Just read the refund policy. THERE IS NONE! O mother lovin God! ROFL. I am beyond screwed if I find out this game blows. See I never fully got a chance to get past the "learning" sector in BETA. So, my impression of the game is TOTALLY based on the posts of y'all and my experience in learning how to just play the game not actually playing in the live world. And LINDEN, where is the refund and detailed renewal info in the Knowledge base that is in the Terms of Service link at the bottom of this page. I tried to find it before signing up and could find nothing. Is everyone supposed to know to read that before signing up. Like ANYONE reads the TOS for games these days. This is important info that SHOULD HAVE been in the Knowledge Base. 24 hours to get my question answered? Ha! Tooo late now.

when I posted this question on launch day. WHoops!
But still this info should still be in some other place than the TOS! It's VERY important for new subscribers and those new to the whole MMO experience.

Personally, I think you made the right choice! SL offers you the ability to be as creative as you want to be. Chances are, if you think of something you'd like to see in an online 3D world, you can build it in SL.
And not just the looks...with scripting you can make things interactive, and fun! Build your dream house, open up a shop, create a cool outfit, make your avatar look exactly like you, etc. The sky's the limit!
Welcome to SL...see you online!

If your heart leads you to create, and you derive satisfaction from this, and you enjoy being part of a community of like-minded people that you can share with, you've made the right decision.

Nice to hear from a Fellow Screwed Over MCOer. I think SL will be around a few years. The Lindens didn't bail on us minutes after it went live. That is a good sign.
