Although I have met very few of you, I believe what you have done to help move Second Life forward was fantastic. Granted, not everyone will see it as positive, but your coming here has pointed out some of the game shortcomings as well as forcing us all to come together as a group. Some of these groups were against you, some for you and some just to get away from you.
But I think it is time to drop the WWIIOL name and go by something unique to Second Life and not be known by another game. I’m not even going to try and suggest a new name, after all, I’m not part of your group. However, you are all a part of SL now and you deserve to be recognized as such. So what ya think guys?
Once again, welcome to Second Life.

i like our name! but really i wouldnt mind either way,as long as it was still related. like maybe the blitzkriegers would be the second group of blitzkriegers on the net.

No way, there are ALWAYS references to our one and only common game. It's what brought us and keeps us together. :]

I certainly wouldn't mind going either way.
The WW2OLers name definitely helps keep the bond we have strong...but on the other hand, I completely agree with what you're saying.
I wouldn't mind something like Off Topica (similar to the nationstates name that was chosen)..
