Big Red Comming Down.

I am sure several have seen the Big Red Dragon atop my castle in Taber. She was created out of love for the game and the Idea of a semi themed community.

Unfortunatly, Due to taxation assesed against my land castle and Dragon she will have to come down. I currently have some cash on hand and will be able to survive a almost 3k hit I am taking this week but I cannot survive that forever.

I have been working at Mentor events/Classes and selling my Clothing but unfortunately since the wipe of the cards and the wipe of previous ratings of people that actually rated me I will not be able to maintain this magnificent beast atop my castle.

I don't get to get out in the world much except for my classes and Mentor events due to I am helping other members of my community that I live in and work on large builds such as my dragon.

I do want to formaly thank all those in my community that have been supporting me up to this point and I am sure they understand the reason for me removing her from the castle.

Maybe some day when things are better or the taxation system is figured out I will be able to Rez her again. But paying for her again every three weeks is beyond my cababilities at the moment. If I am still at a negative influx after I derez her the castle will be next on the list.

If that still doesnt compensate for the negative influx of cash then I will have to start removing my clothing articles from in the 4 store locations that I have them at just to maintain a balance.

Again as a last thought I want to thank all those that supported my efforts but humbly I must apologize that I am unable to maintain them due to the current methods of income vs. taxation.

Hey Shadow. I've seen your dragon in game. In fact, sweet apple and I had a fun game of tag around it. I'm sorry to hear about it coming down.

Shad, I can't express how sorry I am to hear that such a beautiful piece of work will not be out for everyone to marvel at. I was in awe watching you create it and speechless when I saw the finished creation. I hope that some day you will be able to keep it rezzed at all times. Please keep making beautiful works of art, you're a genius.

I'm sorry to see Big Red go -- I flew past it one evening and boggled. As someone else said, it's one of the finest builds that I've seen in SL. It really shows the possibilities of the build system if one's patient and exacting enough. *awe*

Why not throw an event to comemorate the derezing of the Beautiful Red Dragon?
It would be nice and it would give everyone a chance to see it one last time.

One question, Shadow. Why did you never script it to breath fire?

RisingShadow to answer your question about fire...humbly I dont know how to script yet. I am a builder at heart. I have conscripted an individual to work on what I percieve that I want for Big red. She is a semi Adolescent dragon at the moment and has not developed the glands to breath fire. I am teaching her to spit at the moment but she will get the hang of it and once she learns oooh look out...LOL

in another thread I will be making a formal announcement of Thankyou's to everyone that donated yesterday. For now Big Red gets to hang around in the world a few more weeks.

I am keeping an accurate account of all monies donated toward the build of Big red and her Toy castle Shadowhelm Keep.

I am still steadly working on getting new product into the stores as a measure for me to achieve a steady income.

I have created leather jackets and will be making an commemorative Big Red Leather Jacket Exclusive from ShadowWeaver Designs that will have a picture of big red on it as a method of showing support to her. Anyone who donates over 1k to keep Big red around will recieve a copy free of charge. If not the Big Red Commemorative Jacket will be for sale at her feet for $650 The box will also contain pictures of big red and some unseen pictures of her at night in flight...thats the only time I can leash her out to fly without causing a big ruckus.
