I heard somewhere that you get paid more $L based on your ratings. Is this true? and if so... how much $L for each rating?

The exact formula isn't given out, but generally, if you are in a certain top % of ratings (top 5%, say, or top 10%) out of all users, you get a bonus to your income.

It's a holdover from when ratings were dirt-cheap... people used to "rate mine" to get their stipend to gigantic levels. We're awaiting a replacement of the flawed system "any day now".

I have a feeling the formula involves a large sheet with all the residents names on it and an incontenient gerbil.

You also get more money based on your ratings reguardless of your rankings.

When i receive ratings during a week i get quite a bit more than normal. For example if I get a few ratings I get a 300$ ish stipend instead of my normal $50

The formula was posted somewhere a coupel month back ont his forum - It was more heavily weighted to rating change over the week and to a lesser extent your actual numbers.
