From: Romanovna Impfondo How much money did you guys end up raising all together?
-Romanovna Hi Romanovna and everyone who performed at and attended VIRTUAL AID!
We just heard from Pathfinder Linden that the grand total so far that's been raised for the hurricane victims from the collection kiosk at Dragon Moon is:
L$ 119,557 We are simply thrilled by the response we had to the afternoon and evening concerts AND most importantly to the generosity of performers and residents!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ONE AND ALL!!!
HUGS!! DarkDharma DaguerreP. S. The secure donation kiosk will be available for some time at Dragon Moon, so if you wish to stop over and still put in some Lindens, that would be awesome!

I’m totally blown away with the great responses towards the event. It was SL in its finest. There was great music from truly awesome performers. An audience, that cooperated with my tough team of ladies, and gave willingly and generously to a worthy cause. Thank you Demian and DD for all you did and letting me be apart of this. Thank you Yanne, Roseann, Catja, Kalista and Liv, for stepping out of your comfort zones, to help me spread the word, of a prim free event. Thank you Dragon Moon for doing you best and NOT crashing! Good Dragon Goooooodd Dragon Nyna

And it WAS a first...

The event was sensational, and let us not forget that this was a FIRST in Second Life. Until now we've had plenty of single-source live performances (sometimes with a couple musicians, like Moe and I or Singer and CDSpinner), but this is the first time someone has assembled a multi-performer multi-source lineup in a large-scale concert in world. For a live musician like me, that's HUGE. Events like this give a starting musician, like Jamba, the chance to have a captive audience right away, and build a fan base. That's one reason you have opening acts at concerts.
KUDOS!
