Hi Lindens  and all - On the new client download - its labled 13.8 meg - I get a 13.1 meg download and it wont run. Says failed NSIS check and thinks its corrupt or a partial. I re- downloaded it 3 times. This is at 2:20 PM PST -

I think it was My Norton antivirus - I disabled it ( it started the norton installer for some reaon when SL installer ran ) And I think its okay

Scanning anything you are going to install for a virus is a good idea. Running a background virus checker during the install of a program has historically led to strange problems. You should disable nav during install.
