...associating with adults on the teen grid is BAD NEWS.
How is it possible for this to even happen?

Dunno either, but I'm most intrigued by the Babbage Linden person. He/she makes techno music? Into cyberpunk?! Coolest Linden since Cory? Who is Cory? But oh well. Must be fun to have a grid that's still small townsy compared to ours.

Jon, by that short little Linden message. It really seems like no one would have enough knowledge about this to have an opinion of value. There is no way any of us know the facts.
Just like banning on the main grid, most the times there are facts not being told. I would have to guess the majority of the time the people really do know full well why they were banned. _____________________

I agree with what Beau said - there is too little to go on to know what really happened. The one thing I do know is that a TOS violation that is possible to get banned for is the use of keys to communicate between grids via script. The main and teen grid share the same asset server. This may have nothing to do with this situation, just offering it as a potential scenario of what might have happened.
PS - that techno creating happy Linden seems a bit familiar... _____________________

If they share the same asset server then wouldn't MG keys work in the TG and vice versa? As they have content vetting I presume this isn't possible. _____________________

I believe they share the same asset and DB servers; but LL logs all communication between TG and MG users, so LL will respond 'hard and fast'. -Adam _____________________

I don't think they can log everything that goes between the two. I could use an email relay for communication between two prims on seperate grids, for example. That's just one method, also think about a cross-grid Nexcom: can LL monitor all XML-RPC communications and check if the same data sent through one connection goes back in the other grid through another ? And even then it could be encrypted on a per session-basis.

He was approached by someone he believed to be under 18, but turned out to be an adult. Unfortunately, the wording of the conversation means that he could have meant one of two things.

Name2Key database coming back to bite LL on the ass? Hmmm who would have guessed.
