OandA in SL

this is totaly off topic but i was just wondering if theres anyone in SL who is a fan of the Opie and Anthony Show.

XM Sat Radio rocks! But i don't subscribe to their show.

oh but now OandA are a part of the regular lineup. their off premium.

loved them when thry were on the radio haven't made the move to sat yet.

I got hooked onto O&A back in '98 after hearing them get into on-air fights with fellow station DJ Carol Miller at dubbleyew-N-E-dubbleyew. Like Mike though, I haven't bought an XM receiver yet, but plan to soon.

Huge O&A fan here in NY though I don't have satellite radio.

You may also know Anthony used to be a fanatical Everquest player. It sometimes makes me wonder if he, or any other famous people are currently playing SL.

ANother huge O&A fan here. I actually used to work in sales for WNEW before they got fired from that station.

I have often thought of making a build and group dedicated to O&A fans.

I have many gestures I've made using O&A sound clips and making animations. My favorite one is the classic Opie "OK Terrific"

Well, if there are O&A fans here, surely there must be some Ron & Fez fans as well. For you New Yorkers who didn't know, Ron and Fez landed in DC after WNEW sunk.

I've been toying with the idea of running one of the R&F feeds on my land some evenings. Would there be any interest in that? Maybe post it as an event? Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to do that for O&A as I don't have XM or access. Tho I do have some of their old WNEW shows somewhere that I could play on my land...

Just for fun, I'll run R&F tonight (starts at 7pm Eastern/4pm SL time) and see if anyone stops by. Look for Imp's Orgy of Sound in places and feel free to hang out and listen whether I'm around or not.

Went to Jim Nortons HBO special recording. He is funny as hell and had me laughing so hard.

Watch for it on HBO (next month I think). Any O&A fan will love this comedy show.

Pather Farber - Since I don't have an XM player, I signed up for the web stream and love it! Listening to them right now at work.

Beau Perkins - Wish I could have been at the Norton show.. I definately will have to peep it once it makes HBO. I hope they don't cut out the Terry Schiavo joke that everyone is worrying they they might censor.

Imp Ludovico - R&F are over in DC now? That's cool, I miss those guys. Has Fez's "fiance" moved down from Canada yet? LoL.. BTW, Al Dukes is now a DJ for 92.3 WNEW (Howard's station). He hasn't changed one bit and is still dry as hell.
