The hart at the bottom left of my screen does it mean health?

On the bottom right side of my screen their was a bar that was geen but one time I looked at it it was red. What does that mean?

I was shopping (I think) and I looked at a box a pop up said to touch it to find out about someones magic carpit. How do I do that. If I call up a pie I get go to ect....

Just an fyi. I was in a pg area. This is only my secound time here.

Ya, the heart is health. You only have health and can get hurt in a few parts of the world. If you die you just get sent 'home' if you have one set.

The bottom right bars are displaying bandwidth and packet loss. Hold your mouse over them to get info, but you typically don't have to bother with them.

The object with a popup might have been out of order. Usually, if there is a script running, when you left click the object it will do whatever the creator intended. If there is no script running you get the pie menu.

In some areas of SL, damage is enabled and you can die. When you wee the heart icon you're someplace where damage has been enabled. If you die you are teleported to your home location.



There are two small vertical bars at the right bottom of the screen. One shows the bandwidth you're using and one shows packet loss. If the bandwidth one is red it means that SL is trying to send you more data than your network setting in preferences will allow (I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong). If the packet loss meter is red it means you're losing a lot of packets.



Just left click on the object. Right click brings up the pie menu.
