The Castle

Good Morning Everyone, Last night I came a realization whilst building my castle that is underconstruction in Taber.

I thought to my self Let the community help me out in Ideas because at the moment I am at a loss as to what I should do to dress this one up better than the one I had before in Immaculate.

SO here goes, I would like for anyone to go to taber and take a look at what I currently have erected. Its all plywood and some stone on the base at the moment but it has a little ramp and bridge that leads up to the castle gate.

The question is what do you all think I should do to dress the castle up other than the textures?

A bridge to my castle

LMAO...Crim you start first...but remember we are on a sim line so if we do then poof down people will fall if they walk across...LOL

Ok maybe a Drawbridge that meets exactly on the sim line so the prim doesnt cross from one sim to the other.

Then People could walk across to your Castle n buy stuff in your novelty shop.

A bridge with guards posted! Like a border crossing between two kingdoms!

No the sim line is on sias side, my castle is in Taber. Yes Jake that sound cool.

Sorry, had to do it. How about a moat with a little alligator? Stables with horsies?

I went right over and took a look, how about the SL Hippo in your moat? And could you and Crim put up catapults? You could have some hurling contests.

You can't have a castle without great cauldrons of boiling oil to pour on the neighbours. Greek fire's also good.

Ok Shadow, you asked for it! I see Camelot! Banners flying, different little areas inside like shops, a round table!! Oh, and a big dining hall where we can feast on huge turkey legs!! Aah, Camelot!!!! Oh and of course the bridge to Crum, I mean Crims castle.

Castles need tiny LEGO people with their cute little hand weapons and shiny green dragons to ride. Don't forget the secret entrance and underground dungeons. I'm sure you'll find no end of volunteers in-world to help devise various fiendish torture devices...

Well the basic structure is up the Texturing started last night its comming along nicely but then I realized after looking through all my pictures of real castles that sniff..its simply not big enough but due the the constraints of SL with the camera follwing I cannot condense all that needs to go in the castle to go in it.


Ok here is a list of Items I will be needing but really dont have time to build myself at the moment but would consider help from others if they wanted to pitch in and make them.

Please note I dont have money to pay you so if you make something I need your permission to sell it in the castle souvineer store so that you can make some money off your creations.

Items would like to see.

#1 Old 2 wheel horse drawn box cart with sideboards and hay.
#2 horse to fit aforementioned cart.

#3 Cow

#4 Chickens

#5 Falcon

#6 Old timey Stable tools. IM me in game for more details

#7 Garden flowers and shrubs

This is just the begining of my list. If anyone wants to help out I will do my best to help get thier items to sell .

Well, I only had a tiny little castle, but I found that a lot of flags and banners on the top really made it festive. I was thinking it was looking pretty good - I can't wait for the tex to go up.

Hmmm....
I need a good scripter to help me with that david I need a decent moving flag so it looks like a breeze anyone got any suggestions?

Bonecrusher Slate has some nicely-scripted flags in Fanway Park - located in Blue / Americana near 120, 138. Swing by and take a look... I checked with Bone and he'd be willing to talk with you about it...
