I'm doing the world preview event right now. Have the game pre-ordered and such. :D

World preview is open for anyone to try, from 29th-31st (sunday)

Looks great to me, very nice graphics and the game play is interisting. Plus the pricing plan rocks.

Anyone else doing the world preview?

It seems ok so far. The graphics and controls are really good. Just kind of sucks there isn't a world. It's basically Diablo with a town instead of a chat room to meet. It does solve some problems though. There's a main quest to follow which can make a good story. At the starting area of each mission, there are many people around your level forming groups. No more aimlessly wandering around or spamming LFG. There's a meeting point to continue the story where you can easily group up. I also like that they put bots in the game also. If your group is missing a healer, for example, you can add a NPC healer to the group to do the job.

I played it last time round when they had a preview - I loved it. If I had not found SL I would have been still impatiently waiting for GW.

I'm a little dissapointed the world preview is mostly co-op based. I'm more of a single player type of person, so I mostly take NPC's with me on the missions.

Other than that, its great. :D

The arena is way fun. It's sort of like team deathmatch with 2 teams starting on opposite ends of the map. The map is fairly small and the matches go fairly quick. If your teams survives, you go on to the next round. I've only seen 2 different maps so far but it changes every round.
This is the meat of the game. It's like sport pvp with 2 groups of 6 going at it. I'm sure there are clans forming up already thinking of group strategies when going into a match. Too bad it's only a 3 day preview.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!
