Running SL on Two Computers

Can I install and run SL on two different computer? I'm thinking about trying to see if SL will run on my laptop so I can play at work.....um I mean when I'm away from my desktop. I don't want to take a chance of screwing up all my setting and inventory. Will everything follow me between to two, or is some stuff resident on the "used" computer ??

You'll be fine playing on two different 'puters at different times. I installed and played on hubby's computer a couple of times (those times when I wasn't falling asleep, I was on his computer) before it died.
