A follow-up experiment involving the exchange of "genetic" information between two robots as a condition of reproduction failed when one of the robots demanded dinner and a movie, then developed a headache.

Just wait until they start practicing unsafe sex. It'll give new meaning to the phrase "General Protection Fault"...

That's HAWT!!!
I need to start mass-producing my (upgradable) EMP Rifles. The only problem is they might adapt faster than we can make new ways to kill them. |

Whoa, really interesting implementation. There's something about robotic motion that's so insanely cool. The smooth, fluid movement, the rapid execution, the flawless repetition. I'm pretty impressed with the young gents who pulled all this together. Robotics is definitely something well out of my depth in RL, so I always admire the brilliant engineering students who invariably show up on the web every so often showing a new, weird robotic contraption.

For those of you who really have personal problems and enjoy this sort of thing... thread turned into sort of a related topic.
/120/1b/55991/1.html C3PO... damn there's so many things wrong with that.. _____________________
BTW
WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS! |
