I suggest two sims devoted to smallish plots of land, one M and one PG. Going by the figures given in the Olive lottery post, each sim could have 32 8x8 squares of 4x4 foot land and 16 8x16 squares. The 8x8 squares would be good for about 150 objects and the 8x16 squares 300 objects. And the land would cost about $3100 for the 8x8s and $6200 for the 8x16's.
If the land was doled out in a lottery that would mean 96 people could have a nice chunk of land they could call their own. It wouldn't help brand new people with $1000 to their name nor would it work for rich people looking for huge plots but I think it would go a long way towards solving the land shortage for many of us.
