How do I sell eyes...

OK...I don't know if this is in the right forum...but...I know how to make eyes and facial tattoos ...like: uploading as a texture and putting it on my AV...the eye texture goes in my inventory under "Textures"..but when i buy some eyes from a vendor those eyes go into my "body parts" file....how does that happen? How do i sell eyes or makeup?

I think you need to apply the texture to eyes in appearance as you normally do, that creates the eyes, then save the eyes, it should go to body parts. Then box the newly created eyes in a simple prim box. Click tools from the menu up top, hit select tools, then hit create, tough the ground and the box appears. click the "more" button, then hit the content tab, drag your eyes into the box content. Set the box for sale. Make sure to set your permissions to the eyes, not the box.

Makeup you'll need to sell as a texture. With eyes you're better off applying them to eyes in appearnace and then selling the body part. When doing eyes, make sure you first pick a folder in your inventory, right click on it, select "new/body part/eyes." Then modify those newly created eyes in appearance. If you just modify defualt eyes from your inventory they won't show you as the creator. Hope that helps.
