First I would like to apologize to all Slate Residents for my lengthy departure.
I must admit I miss everyone and my home away from home, and I hope to be back with everyone soon.
Let me give you all an update on what's up with me. Today, I have what I hope will be my final MRI. Today's MRI of choice is Brain and Brain Stem with contrast. Once this is completed, and I get the results, I fax all these reports down to my neurosurgeon and get an appointment to see him and hopefully get setup for a date for surgery.
Currently the pain I'm in is such that it's too much for me to sit at the keyboard after a full day's work (which I'm at now). I usually just get home from work and crash and rest and sleep throughout the night and get up and do it all over again the next day.
Hopefully all this will be coming to an end soon though, and I'll be able to be back with you!

I'm sorry to hear things still aren't any better, Bob. Hang in there. And don't hesitate to ask us all for help! That's the community part of "virtual community" after all!
