edit: I have only the one pictured later in the thread left.
I have one Starax statue, and I am having to go landless. It is not doing anyone any good sitting in inventory. I am wondering if anyone might like to have it on display. It is very big.
---------- the part displayed below is out of date now. I am leaving just to keep the thread from being unintelligible. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have some nice Starax statues, and I am having to go landless. The statues don't do anyone any good sitting in inventory. I am wondering if anyone might like to have them on display. They are rather high prim. I have no idea if putting them on display is something anyone might want to do or not.

I have prims in Taber and can probably use one in the residential quad in Slate. I'll IM you about them.

I think I read somewhere about a technique that may allow you to put it on display without using any prims... I was going throught the Ivory Tower guide, and it was mentioned that Francis Chung made a 300 prim motorcycle which would be rezzed as a temporary on rez by a stand, and it would be deleted and recreated about once a minute.
I believe this might be a nice solution... IM me if you would like me to attempt to script something like this.

We've got a ton of land and prims in Athena. I have a few of Starax's pieces on display already, but a few more couldn't hurt!

I was using a temp on rez holo vendor to display high-prim mecha attachments for a while there, but I abandoned the approach for a number of reasons, including the temp on rez prim changes.

They have gone rapidly, those that are transferable.
Here's what's left, it's called "Home Sweet Home". I think this piece looks ok in that setting.

Olmy says that "Home Sweet Home" does not fit in with the Greek mythology theme of his location so it is still available again. It's big!

Starax also makes great av's, I've got 4 of 'em Angel, Flame, Electric, and of course, my werewolf. He's not taking commissions or I've got one in mind that'd rock.
