Bummer Snoopy
![]() Just a tip... when you want to post an image online for people to view, never upload a bmp file. They're not compressed so a 640x480 image is almost a full meg (900kb). If you convert it to a jpg the same image would only be 60kb or so. ![]() _____________________

What he said. Though its not as bad as it seems since all data gets compressed by default before being pushed into the cables. This is why you can get an abnormally fast download like 17.5k/s on a 10 year old analog modem. Your software is counting the size of a huge file being transfered n a relatively short time without any way of knowing it was made smaller by the hardware compression routines.
You can try it out by making a gigantic text file with a single letter repeated ad nauseum ("aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" , then sending it to someone ![]() |

Brinkster doesn't allow remote linking. Make a simple web page called mypic.html and put this code into it.
