Video Linden is loose in Second Life and looking for cool events to film for the secondlife.com homepage. If you would like your event covered by Video Linden, send me an email at [email]jesse@lindenlab.com[/email] with a request. Be sure to include the name, description, host, and landmark of your event. PG events only at this time! Video Linden will be available for event coverage from 2pm - 6pm, Monday - Friday. Your event must also be posted on the event calendar to be considered for coverage. If you already have an event up on the calendar you would like filmed, please put a (V) after the event title. Look for a Second Life TV program guide coming soon...feel free to email me with questions, thanks!

So you mean to tell me that potential residents watching the live feed will get bored of Slingo even BEFORE they actually join?
So does anyone want to make a wager on who the first Fet..I mean avie will have their event broadcast?  I do have to admit that it was pretty cool that Video Linden broadcast last nights candle light vigil over the live feed. I got a bajillion IM's from other residents and have made many new friends. Also one more completely random person signed up and put me down as a referral just because they saw me speaking on the feed. So hey can't beat that. |

Hi, I sent this to you a couple of days ago, I don't know if you got it or not. I still have the V after the name and have told people Video Linden might be at the event. Should I expect an answer back? Or should I assume he will be there?

And for voice in SL a friend of mine introduced me to 'Skype'. Very clear and great program....only drawback is I think U can only have 4 people to a conference.

I had to update Media Player when I upgraded my computer, so now I can't view Video Linden. I agree that it should have been set up with Quick Time, since that's the basis for video inside SL.
