Hmmmm.... just seeing if I can trash myself without repercussions.

Sorry if it's already been done in Beta. :P

If I get banned, see you in a few days.

Oh, and I will probably link this on the weirdest thing done when bored thread, though I suppose it's not _that_ weird.

There was only one other voter so far, so I went with the majority. Sorry a$$hat. :D

I used this to test. I have the thing clicked that doesn't allow others to view that you are online. (That way I can retain a modicum of dignity instead of being recognized as the board ho I am.)

So I thought, well it won't let you vote on polls that your name gets revealed on. But I wasn't sure, and sometimes did anyway.

What it does is, it lets you VOTE (I went with the majority opinion, for a**hat), but then, when you go to look at the responses again, it no longer names the people who voted for each. That seems fair - you DO still get to vote. But if they can't see what you voted for, then you can't see what they voted for.

You do? That's odd, let me check again.

I see the number reflecting the fact that I voted, but I see NO one's names now, though I did before I voted. They should make it clear that this is what will happen if you chose that being hidden option. But then, maybe they already did and I just didn't notice when I chose the option.

I see it too.

The only way people can't see what you voted for was if the poll maker decided not to check the box "Make this poll public".

You'd think, though, if others can see what I voted for, I should be able to see what others voted for, whether I chose the "invisible" option or not.
