It seems that this post cannot be deleted, so I simply edited it and removed the survey link. Hope that would resolve the problem.
Again, I am very sorry for posting something here for my own purpose, since I am new to SL and I didn't expect that there would be such a policy...
Thanks to all the people who helped me by answering the survey or giving comments. I am trying to post the survey somewhere else... Does anyone know any MMOG forums that gather a lot people (ideally players of different online games) and allow me to do the survey? (you know I don't wanna make the same mistake again...)

If you're doing research you need to run it by Robin first.
I don't think they want their world to be everyone's market research forum.

Developers can then measure which new concepts most improve the products and incorporate them into the game in future patches."

I don't think they want their world to be everyone's market research forum. Since this is (a) on a 3rd party site and (b) voluntary, I believe it is outside of the research policy. However, it's probably worth examining anyway... here's the link: http://secondlife.com/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Research+Ethics+in+Second+Life

Regardless of whether the study can be conducted here or not, I thought I'd offer the following comments that might be helpful to you:
- Minor typo: Acheron's Call should be spelled Asheron's Call
- In the MMOG's played, I think you might want to include: World of Warcraft, Lineage 2 (both have over 1 million subscribers are are the biggest MMOG around) and also Star Wars Galaxies (also got a lot of response due to license and is interesting because halfway between a social and combat MMORPG). There are lots of others you didn't include (Everquest 2, Anarchy Online, Horizons, Asheron's Call 2, Horizons...) but they are relatively minor and those 3 would add some important names to the list.
- Question 6 should include the option to answer "Strong Social Component" as you will find that entertainers in Star Wars Galaxies or, I'd guess, most players in Second Life probably enjoy that aspect.
Hope this help, Wendel

Thank you...

Thank you for informing me. I am sorry that I did not read all the policies carefully before posting the message. But, since the survey I am doing is just a very small one that is going to be closed within only a few days, I am afraid it might be too late if I wait till Linden Lab gives me permission. So, if the message I posted really violated the policy, I would prefer it to be removed. I don't know how to delete a message, can anyone tell me? Also thanks to the people who gave me helpful comments about the survey. Unfortunately I found out that I could not edit the questions once someone answered it... But I will try to include those information in my paper.

From: wiki Second Life exists for its members. While we don’t discourage research or classroom study, it is our policy that no one may use Second Life or its forums for their own purposes without the explicit consent of Linden Lab. posting on the forums. (voluntariness isn't the triggering factor)
