To help figure out this world-wide synchronization, I'd like some info what LOCAL time you are on in SL. Please post your time AND location (timezone). Let's figure out who is on when.
So tell me what time would be your "ideal" time for say, not having SL down or having Town Halls.
For me it's 6pm - 8pm Central which is 4pm - 6pm game time

I'm in the UK. 3-6 p.m. local time is usually a quiet time for me and therefore ideal, but I can make most meetings as long as they're not between 3 and 10 p.m. game time (I like to sleep).

I chose Noon - 3pm. I'm in Nevada, so Pacific time. My schedule is very flexibile though, so I'd have no problem with whatever they chose.

6-midnight central time. So 4-10 game time works best for me!

A sweet spot
09-12-2005 05:24
update.. I think 5pm to 10pm (local time) is a "sweet spot" according to this non scientific pole. I would guess it consists of "after work - before bed".
If europe is up to 6 hours ahead of parts of the USA then I'd say 5pm game time would grab some of the USA just after work and the UK night owls. But this does no good if the host is in England and can only make it at 5pm their time.
I think the best one can do is find times when people are "awake", but as far as getting enough "ideal" times. This is so hard in a SINGLE timezone that I others need to give more care that worldwide becomes difficult.
I've had a globe build for me that well help show world time in terms of daylight and GMT, if anyone is interested in viewing it, go to Prim College in Orion (it's on the deck)

Weekend availability differs from weekdays and is more likely to accomodate international timing.

Partry like it's the weekend.

From: Margaret Mfume Weekend availability differs from weekdays and is more likely to accomodate international timing. On weekends 1pm game time is defiantly more of a sweetspot for a huge range of countries that are awake and able to be up both late (no work on Sunday) and mid day and early (no work Saturday).
