I came to second life that I met Mysty Rhodes and I went to her events every single day so I can win cars, homes and 50L and I waited and waited for her raffle to bring up my name hoping I win a motorcycle

The first time I when to Phantasy Island and was so much dancing there and I put these sparkles in my arms that I thought was the neatest thing...


I remember when...

Someone I know gave me a land to build a little house and gave me permissions to do whatever in his land, so I edited the land and I didn't know was messing his club inside. When he came the next day and saw inside his club hills of land he was furious and thought I did it on purpose... blah!

I built my first home in a mountain close to Leda sim and Siohban helped me to built it. I didn't know what the heck I was doing but I remember the first window she showed me how to do

I found my first job in SL in the Sea Side Casino and I did so many events for the owner, was too much fun

I remember when I attended my first Thinker's meeting. I was a different person, I think -- my first incarnation lasted only about a month, and my name was Eliza Fauna. I remember Losenger Blair and Zeno Zaius.

I remember when the first skins were becoming really popular, and saving up for the ones I really wanted. I loved Chip Midnight's and Govindira Galatea's.

I remember going to a club and wondering why they were so popular. I remember attending an avatar contest and standing around for an hour before I took off.

I remember owning my first land. Land for the Landless was still chugging away, and my first 512 plot was in Baku, next to the W-Hat factory. I sold it to them.

I remember when Siobhan Taylor still had newbie classes.

I remember when I met pandastrong Fairplay, a few months into the game (around September, I think). I'd made my first skins and I was still mucking around with them. I was snooping around Lash Xevious's place, when she had that house underwater, and I was discovered!

I remember going to the Welcome Area a lot and enjoying the idle conversation punctuated by questions from fresh-off-the-boat newbies.

I remember making my own shirt. It was awful. I don't know what happened to it.

Hmm I remember rezzing a 300m tall plywood ramp in Immaculate and riding furniture down it with Nolan, Lynn, and Reve.

I remember hiding 100 fart cans in Misty Rhodes walls so all you could hear was hellacious fart noises as particle clouds spewed from the windows.

I remember jumping a motorcycle into a half rezzed house, landing in somones bedroom while they were cybering.

I remember accidentally deleting my pants in the WA.

I remember joining 4 'supatrampolines' together and launching myself from Bisque to Purple.. rebounding off the sim edge.

I remember when the 'motorcycle sit' position first came into being and noone knew what it was called - and thus couldn't turn it off.... I remember we gave up on it and formed the 'sweaty mens wrestling federation' instead -- the first bout being 'Bunny Nipple Man vs The Fat Guy'

By cracky I remember when men were men and prims meant something.

Oh man, I remember my very first night in SL. I was so intrigued. I flew around EVERYWHERE exploring things. It was so much fun. Everything seemed so WEIRD and unique and I was instantly hooked.

The little ding sound that SL makes you open the pie menu still takes me back to those first few days of exploration, of the weeks I spent camping out at Ivory Tower, of all my flights in my Terra Cypress Shuttlecraft (which is still my favorite vehicle, for nostalgic reasons), exploring every inch of the skies.

I remember opening my first little art gallery, and selling my first sculpture, then a painting. I knew I could survive in SL then haha!

I renember when I rezzed my First prim, and made a giant unlinked penguin hehe,

I renember when... I first went to Phantasie island and the first year of my life blew away haveing so much fun with newfound friends,

So many memories,

I remember when the Welcome Area included a decent place to sit (a-HEM!!).

I remember going to the Black Sun shortly after I signed up, and learning what Lag was.

I remember getting triple pos rated by people I'd never even said a word to, and who didn't seem to want to start.

I remember last Fall's Punkin' Chunkin' contest, with entries from Chandra Page and Deevyde Maelstrom.

And I remember desperately trying to figure out how to build a "physics on" catapult for days afterwards...

I remember Hungry Linden.

I remember when Trimming Hedges had an event that tested out his watches that realy worked with rl time. I thought that was amazing and it opened my eyes to the world of scriping.

I still have that watch!

~I remember Orientation and spending like an hour getting my av just right. There was another newbie there and we were looking at the beach ball that would help us learn how to move things and he said "Ladies First" I thought that was very kind of him.

~I remember Getting to the Welcome Area and just watching people for the longest time. I was amazed by the avs I saw. I am rather shy so I didn't talk to anyone at first. I was getting all these positive ratings from people who never said anything to me. Then people were giving me wings and some clothing which was really cool. Someone had given me a car and I immediately attached it thinking I would end up in the drivers seat...it went on my head and all I saw was black and I started freaking out... "How do I get this car off my head!!!" It wouldn't unnattach and I had to relog heh.

~I remember Willow Raven seeing me standing by myself all lonely and she asked me to come over and talk. She had been on SL just a little longer than me. She made me feel welcome and is now my SL Sister She would take me to clubs and then I met my current Sister, Sheena Lily. They are wonderful people.

~I remember turning myself into a Demon av with red skin and big wings. I went to a club who was having a best in red contest. I didn't know anyone there and ended up winning $2000 and then the next contest was for an evil av or something and won another $2000. That was the best because I had like $20 to my name heh.

~I remember buying my first land and trying to decorate without going over the 512 land prim allowance. I ended up buying a few surrounding 512's and having a nice lil home area...then a big ass club went up all around me so I sold them my land and moved to a better place heh.

~I remember meeting my current Partner. I had a crush on Him for awhile and I was like on cloud nine that He started talking to me. I'm not one to flirt around or anything like that and most people seem to go for those types, so I hadn't had much luck in the SL romance department heh. Willow would always tell me to talk to this guy or that guy, but there was only one I really wanted...and luckily waiting paid off for we are very Happy



~There are many more memories, but these are the ones that stick out for now. I am fortunate to have met the people that I have...I shall cherish them and the memories from the past...and look forward to the future and the memories that will be created.~

I remeber when I use to hang out in 160,80 miramare, it was an awesome sandbox before it became the awesome armord labs by the awesome marcos, I saw another newbie there. I pulled out my freshly prim crafted seat (a 1/2 sphere ) and sat and watched as he made a motorcycle from a collection of odd shapes. We chatted a bit and he explained some of the finer points of prim building. Within an hour he drove off on his creation. I have to say it was at that time that I realised how powerful SL was.

Ps. I still have the copy of the bike he gave me .
