I was suring the web one night and came across an advertisement on SL.
5 days free trial. I said, what the heck..........I'll try it for a few laughs.
After all, I played the Sims Online and got so sick of playing the pizza machine and code machine, how bad could this game be.
Well.......I started to play around with simple objects........made some good friends and lo and behold.....I forgot to cancel my subscription. A charge showed up. So..........as long as I had paid for it, I might as well play.
The people I have run into have been the friendliest I have ever met. When I asked them how to do scripts or make things work....they gave them to me. Clothes were given to me, objects, scripts......
I couldnt believe it.
I now have found a home and was glad I forgot to cancel. I love the 3D building and using my own textures and sounds. The weekly stipend is great and lets me get creative.
I hope to meet many more great people in my second life.
