The worst part is I'm a network engineer, I don't fix copy machines, not even Minoltas.

Once I returned to my desk to find a note from one of those phone message pads laying there. You know the kind, it has a blank for every piece of pertinent information already on it like Mr/Mrs, Name, Phone #, Time, Date. All you have to do is start at the top filling out the fields. The only thing on this note was scrawled in the "message" section. It read as follows: You were cornerstone __________ ___________________________ _______________ 2 days ______ The secretary we had at the time had just transfered to our department. She had been shuffled around where I worked, and when my boss requested someone from the main office she showed up at our door. She was a native English speaker and had been a secretary with our organization for several years prior to being assigned to us. When I inquired about the message she enthusiastically told me that yes that's what they had said but she couldn't remember who had called with it. I have no idea why none of the other departments wanted her.

OMG Taco - quit being so mean! Everyone knows that Manolla printers (Manolla is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crayola) always put the dark border at the top of the page so that people, especially Sales and Marketing folks, know which end is up.

I like that one, it kind of has a secret agent sound to it.
I administer a web site/extranet for our clients and routinely get requests for passwords and other related help. I recently got a message with no text in the body, and the subject read:
