Hmmm...Let me see...some of those propositions look interesting, I definitely want to weigh in...you only get 10...hmm...let's skip the tekkie ones with fancy words like "setpos" in them because those are just scripterati whining, let's look at the really important ones with economic consequences, shall we? Here's our slate: From: someone Prop: 22 - Give land building permissions to individual residents 108 votes Category: land management Sub: parcel access Added: 2005-04-13 Feature Detail: Add the ability to name specific residents and give them parcel permissions. This would allow 'renting' of land to individuals, for example, rather than just groups. I don't fully get this, because you don't have to have land renting only to groups, but let's say "yes" because it looks like an improvement for our business! From: someone Prop: 32 - Point to point teleport 106 votes Category: user interface Sub: movement Added: 2005-04-13 Feature Detail: Create ability to set point to point teleport. Essentially a script option to move the avatar to a specific point, replacing and improving the current 'sit hack' used to move avatars short distances. Linden comments: Let's vote "no" as this will destroy telehub commerce, devalue telehub land, and ruin telehub malls where we rent! From: someone Prop: 10 - Change group recall provisions 92 votes Category: social Sub: group management Added: 2005-04-13 Feature Detail: Make founders immune from recalls, allow them to kill recalls, create a group-type without recalls Linden comments: Hey, no contest there, vote YES on this baby, definitely! Hmm...well these are just three...I dunno...I gotta study it some more... Boys? What do you think? How are you going to vote?

You bring up an interesting point. We should have "no" votes we could place.

Geez, I hate to disagree with you on an important social and economic issue like this, Prok...but honestly, the people want point-to-point TP! In fact PTP TP is probably what will save some of our stripmalls that are hard to rent out sometimes because they are so far away from TH's... On the other hand...Prok....you often know best...so Ok, what the hell, I'll vote with you on this one, "NO" for this one.

What kind of pipe do you have where you can actually see anything near a telehub without standing around waiting for everything to load?? maybe if they disabled flying that would help telehubs, but I never see anything near a telehub. I bump into stuff, curse a lot... I do my shopping in the web stores because I just hate (understatement) how long it takes textures to load. Have you ever teleported and decided a store (or event) was too far away?

SHHHH Ingrid we're making a larger point here and you're interrupting the flow!
Now seriously guys! We all need to hang together on this. I want us all to vote EXACTLY the same way because...well...just because.
Because we can. All. Vote. Exactly the same. Way.
So it would be crazy not to use that opportunity.

His point is that folks with alot of alts can unfairly unfluence the vote.
Of course, since the voting really means nothing, and LL will work on what THEY feel is important or correct, then he really has no point...

From: someone Where's Wally and Falling Raine? Surely, they have something to say. Wally's in hibernation and Falling Raine isn't one of ours, honestly. I have no idea who Falling Raine is but we'd never chose a name like that. Those who know our footprint know that.

At first I was sure you'd lost your mind . . . then again, I always was kinda slow on getting jokes.
Like I just now was... just now!!! After writing that last paragraph!!! I just realized you are referencing that post suggesting I was one of your other alts. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Told you I was slow.

From: someone Just ask WALKER Spaight if you don't believe me Yes, any SLH rep can put you straight on the alts issue. They know that when I've posted to SLH and Coco has posted to SLH like a minute later, we can't POSSIBLY be the same person because the posts are on competely different ISPs in competely different states on completely different time zones.

Vote for Point to point teleport
04-14-2005 18:54
From what I gater from Point to point teleport all it is a way to teleport in sim without the sit hack... If this does actualy go out of sim so what the only ppl that dont like this from what i see is ppl with money invested in hub property and assume that is what brings in the money... ever heard of the find button and proper discription for key words? look into it thats how I find stuff not these hubs that are littered hifh in the sky arround it with basicly nets to catch custemers from flying away... this is why I keep a devive that moves me into the sky when I tp to a hub hate ads just as much as popups
