Apparently if you don't want to hire a dancer or escort then you can't hire anyone. Doesn't anyone want a real job?

Pay real wages ....9000 lindens per hour would be a bargain for getting any skilled employee.

I'd agree with the second post sort of. Working for tips=lame unless it's a very very popular club. Working for $10-$20 a hour, lame again. Same as in real life basically. Give a good pay rate and you'll get workers, otherwise I don't see much happening. It'd cost me more for my electric bill per hour than I'd make at half the places offering pay so really, what's the point?

Some of your posts in your own help wanted threads are extremely sarcastic. You have also stated that you intend to leave SL.

Perhaps those qualities are not what people are looking for in an employer or business partner. Just sayin'...

Sarcastic? All I wanted was someone who could follow simple instructions. If someone couldn't even read the post, they couldn't handle the job.

And yes, I don't log into SL much at all. That's the whole idea behind hiring someone. If I could be in SL and do it all myself then I wouldn't need to hire someone.

Just my opinion, but the post in this thread: /118/b9/347319/1.html#post2606987
sounds more like a scam to get people to fill out your surveys (thus making money for *you*) than it does like a legitimate job offer.

Maybe you'd have better luck finding an employee if the job you were offering wasn't something as distasteful as email-harvesting, and if you didn't require applicants to offer up their own email for harvesting first?

Yeah Carter!

Unfortunately, recent research for my blog showed that this "seemed" to be happening a lot in many categories of employment -- as if putting in an ad for employees was simply to generate traffic. If an employer can't find an employee with the same classified ad for a month, them I am guessing there is something really wrong with the job or there was never a real job at all :D

"a real job".

Is that what you call what you are offering? Working for pennies on the dollar per hour = real job?

Interesting.

I thought "real jobs" came from the "real world" where they compensate you with "real wages", not virtual cash.
