I have seen a few different photographs from a few people in SL. I need photographs take by those who understand what makes a great modeling photo. I need a professional portfolio made.

I'm looking for the following things:

1. Clear photographs with good lighting and poses - I'd really like the photographer to have some idea of a good pose, lighting scheme, background and clothing.

2. Non distorted photographs - I'm no expert but when someone takes a photo of me, they should be able to take it down to their computer, make the picture dimensions the same as what's available in SL. SL distorts a 1024x768 picture. If taken directly into SL, without modifying the picture in an external graphics program, a 1024 x 768 picture will be 1024 x 512. Or, makes it a 512x512, which either elongates or stretches the picture. I can't tell you how many of these I've received. I have some great pictures that were taken, or could have been great, had the proportions not been distorted. I'm no graphic designer and even I know how to do this.

3. Decent pricing - Apparently, it really is true that you get what you pay for. I'm not opposed to spending some money, even though I don't have a lot. But, I will pay for quality.

4. Full perms pictures - I need to be able to give these out

5. A good studio with poses, lighting, backdrops, etc - I do not own these things myself yet.

6. Friendly and helpful - I want the photographer and/or agency to be friendly and helpful to me and not take advantage of me.

7. Advice on pictures, poses, clothing, hair, etc - Getting into the business is tough. I don't want to settle on a 5 minute session only wearing what I have on and taking 5 pictures with the same outfit. I want to do it right the first time and build from there.

If you possess these qualities or know someone or a studio that does, please feel free to post here or send me a notecard in game with samples and rates.

I may sound picky but I'm not the kind of person who settles on things when I can pay more for the best. I've been burned a couple of times, it's cost me a lot of money, and had people make photographs who either don't understand the basics or aren't putting forth their best efforts. And, if I'm paying for them, I want them to be quality.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!

Make your own.

Seriously...you'll get a lot more satisfaction that way, and probably save money too.

Lights are free...no need to buy an expensive lighting system. just rez three prims and make them lights. Adjust the intensity, position, and color until you like the result.

Don't worry about backdrops...either use a pretty WindLight sky and water scene, or make your own photocube with a few prims set to white and Full Bright. Then add a backdrop in Photoshop.

You'll have to pay for the poses, but if you are going to model, you'll want poses anyway.
