I'm looking for someone with basic Photoshop knowledge that can export textures from an existing psd I have. It would involve simply turning layers on and off, saving as a png, uploading them to SL, testing it on clothing, and if it looks good, sending them to me. The pay would be per texture. Please IM me in-world if you're interested.

lol, then he can pass the heat of to the other person if they are found to violate copyright. Textures won't be in his name...

I doubt that is the real reason but that is why I would never do it for someone.

As has been mentioned, why can't you do it yourself?

How do you know the PSD files has multiple layers if you cannot view the file yourself and require someone else to do it?

Why should anyone have to export the textures from a PSD file, they can just open the file in Photoshop, exporting would not be necessary.

Perhaps a little more explanation would be appropriatte as to what it is you really have/or what you want to do.

Quite the responses.

I could do it but I manage 50 sims and have little time. If you're not interested please don't comment.

Who said I couldn't view it?

Huh? Like I said, each layer would need to be saved to a png and uploaded to SL.

Why did you edit out that part where I made it clear I didn't assume it? Makes you look more guilty. Not that I am assuming it.

Seriously, don't you have anything better to do? If you're not interested in this project, move on to the next thread. It's not that hard.

I am pointing out why someone should not upload someone else textures. It is as simple as that. There is to much liability in it. For you to ask someone to do that without stating such liabilities is irresponsible of you. Get it? If you want someone to do your textures then have them do it then transfer them via e-mail to you. Having them as the creator is not a good idea for you or them. It is not good for you because they now have the textures and can sell them themselves and it is not good for them because if there is ever a DMCA or any other legal claim against them they have to deal with it not you.. For someone in charge of 50 sims you are not very responsible or professional.

Are you done ranting about this weird conspiracy theory yet?

Again, you are assuming the worst without asking a single question. This is for shirts, and by using a texture regardless of who creates it, I'm the creator of the shirt.

Instead of ranting and raving about how irresponsible this could be, move on to the next thread and stop with your ridiculous comments. If you're not interested in this project, move on, it's not that hard.

I am not assuming anything, once again, and it isn't a conspiracy theory. I am simply pointing out people need to take precaution with doing something like this. I have not accused you of trying to harm anyone or that you are trying to screw anyone and even said I doubt you are. However the next guy might be. That is all. You are reading things into what I say that isn't there. Just trying to tell you and anyone else they should be careful with textures... Plenty of stolen content and DMCA claim misery going on right now...

Anyway good luck finding someone to do your light work. :)

Great. Warn them in another thread instead of causing paranoia in mine.
