Our first high-density simulator is going online in a matter of weeks. Belvedere inc is inviting all experienced architects and engineers to dust off their prim-slinging hats.

Starting December 2nd, 2008 and ending December 31st, 2008 we are hosting a building competition and skyscraper purchase. All experienced architects are encouraged to submit! This competition is geared towards small, fun projects that can be accomplished in 70 unique prims or less which gives plenty of chances for each architect to submit multiple entries. If you are interested in having your own skyscraper viewed by hundred of thousands of people while being featured in the city of Belvetica enter our building competition today!

We are rewarding a total of fourteen (14) prizes of L$3,000 each for the purchase of interesting, quality skyscraper buildings built within our metrics.

This contest is for all architects and engineers who can produce attractive, dynamic projects while adhering closely to our prim requirements and keeping within spec. We are looking for many, many different styles and reward those who can submit new, fresh projects. Builders are also free to submit multiple buildings to win multiple rewards.

All interested builders go to http://belvedereinc.net/belvetica

Talent and Experience Requirements:

Innovative design within set limitations and requirements

Creative building in low-prim projects

Using mega prims effectively

Building for the avatar user’s impression and experience

Check out the website for a description of the project and rules and guidelines of the contest.

Contact Lefty Belvedere if you are interested in submitting a project!

hmmm,

considering i just made 25k L's for building in a week, i'd be hard pressed to go for your competition....that's alot of work for a "possible" prize, and sounds like a mini-'hmmm",

maybe you could list your prim requirements and a little more of what you're looking for besides "skyscrapers" for that means a seven story building or higher, and that's it...

do you want apartments, offices, space for clubs, or are you gonna just think that hopefully we'll come up with that...???

put out a genuine invitation and that might get a good response....

i'll look forward to seeing what wins for 3k L's, hahaha

Perhaps a clearer view-point is needed.

draconea,

Our response to this contest has been very promising already. The prize money is merely a minor token in the competition and we assume that no architect would ever participate solely because of the amount of money. This is a very small, fast project (as outlined in the provided link) that can be accomplished in around 70 unique prims... A fun piece of cake (Again, as outlined in the provided link) This is a contest and not a job.

The extended description of prim requirements, themes, heights, etc. are fully laid out in the provided link. Very genuine, indeed.

This is a great opportunity for both new architects looking for an exciting start and a seasoned SL builder looking for a fun side-project. Most competitors will be firing off two or three submissions in a matter of days... Most will be winning multiple prizes for a few day's work.

We have gotten plenty of positive feedback from many interested builders (all of whom have bothered to follow the provided link) and nobody has mistaken our competition as a full-fledged, month-long contract position...

The real prize is notoriety in a city full of architects and a chance to contract with us in the future. Perhaps you would be interested in a very fun challenge in-between your usual work? I invite you to visit http://www.belvedereinc.net/belvetica for a full description.

Sincerely,

Jared Saverino

P.S. I must say that L$25,000 is less than half of what I have paid my architects in the past. I invite you to submit your portfolio to leftybelvedere@mac.com for higher-paying work.
