After several years of taking custom coding products and satisfying clients with innovative alternatives to the stifling sameness of common applications and objects, I have begun the task of compiling numerous smaller concepts into an expansive project that will function as a highly versatile combat system along with an endless list of other possibilities.
Development on the core system, while far from finished, has finally reached a point where it needs to be expanded in a more specific direction, and because many of the ideas I have accumulated over the years deal with expanded functionality for weapons in particular, I have decided to focus first on refining the combat oriented aspects of the system.
What I am looking for right now is content developers possessing both talent and vision who, rather than merely looking to pick up a few quick lindens on sales, share the ambition of transcending the status quo and ushering in the next generation of in-world applications. Particularly what I need at the moment are weapons designers and animators, although anybody who shares this ambition may contact me for more information.
Because your faithful lead developer on this project lives on the humble salary of a young, freelance writer, I cannot offer immediate payment for your work. Instead, consider this a long-term project without immediate deadlines, to devote yourself to as inspiration strikes, so long as all efforts are inspired. Weapon developers will see their creations function in ways unprecedented in the world of Second Life. Animators will find use for their work in prototypes of the highest available quality, always a nice portfolio piece. When this stage of the system finally reaches fruition, all involved will reap the benefits from sales of the components.
Anybody wishing to become involved in this project may send a notecard to Ezra Ducrot in world with some ideas you would like to see realized and a sample of your work. Ambitious, business minded individuals who may be willing to invest in the project and who are willing to discuss at length to determine our compatibility for leading this project together are also encouraged to get in touch.
Onwards and upwards!
