Hi,

True Blue Designs is seeking texture artists who are looking for selling space on a commission basis.

Please read on for more details:

1) No weekly rent is asked for, Selling space is commission based 60/40 (you 60)

2) No copyrighted material - No exceptions:
Any work that is found to be copywritten/stolen will be removed, Continous breaches will result in all your content being remove & a ban from the store.

3) You are responsible for your textures. If someone is selling your textures then it is up to you to choose how or if you wish to deal with it.

4) If you are already selling your textures in another commission based store (IE: Textures R Us) then it is kindly asked that you do not apply as refusal may offend.

If you would like to find out more information please contact Natalie Oe in world or email support@sltruebluedesigns.com

If you would like to view the area in which textures will be displaye please visit Olexandrovich - 117/192/40

Why would anyone want to pay you 40% of what they make, for what is basically shop space? even the big-name vendors only give out 10%-20%. There are a LOT of commission vendors out there that are happy with that. I'd go there, personally.

Hi Keysha :)

Sorry I missed your post, I actually know of several who charge 50 - 60 percents comission, I think it just depends on the area, whats included ect...for example once a few more artists come in I'm going to be running ads in the bigger secondlife newspapers and a few other things.

Several of the artists who are coming in have offered to pay a bigger percent of 50-50 (which I declined) because they aren't paying rent, parcel fee's, Advertising fee's and they don't have a set prim limit.

Kind regards
Natalie

40% seems fairly reasonable to me, especially if there are ongoing efforts to promote the store. There is a lot of value in increased exposure, free retail space, and no-hassle profits.

Hi Vlad,

Thank you for your feedback, I agree totally with what you said, its especially helpful if the artists have their own store elsewhere but are looking for extra space, because it doesn't count towards their tier level.

The only rule I have in place is no copywritten work or ripped work because my hope is to have genuine textures by talented artists. I have even gone as far as having a custom script made up where artists can sell singles & full packs aswell aswell as set wether they want to use hovertext (and if so what they want it to say) as well not using it. If they do use hovertext then it hibernates after a minute of not being in use, it gives them a few other options aswell.

Kind regards
Natalie
