Interested in Spoken word?
Not roses are red, violets are blue poetry.

Innovative, intelligent, entertaining, skilled performance poetry.
I'm new to Second Life,
But if a musician can play a live set for a crowd,
I think a poet could do the same.

Slam poetry and spoken word isn't a well known concept,
But if you've never heard it, I'd give it a listen
Here are a couple performances by more well known artists to give you
an idea of what I'm talking about.

That's just an idea.
I'm a performing poet and would gladly perform for free.
Virtual or not, performing is still publicity and this is an art form
That needs an alternative medium to get the word spread

If you own a club or coffee shop or anywhere you'd be interested in having poets perform,
Please reply or get a hold of me on SL.

Many thanks

I think this is a great idea.

The closest I have seen to it was a standup comic I stumbled across one night. Don't remember her name (female AV, male voice).

Comparable are the two Pooky Amsterdam shows in SL, _The Second Question_ (an interview show) and _Dating Casino_ (like the dating game type shows.
