Hi all! I was wondering if I could get some club managers to help me out. I need to find out what club general managers are making in SL. This would be for the managers that do everything, hire, fire, train, set events, run events, and handle all questions and problems 24/7. I would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks!!

That would depend on how much experience they have. If they have a little I would start them out at about L$1800 a week, depending. For your more experienced managers they should probably make about L$5000 a week. You will want to have a look at their track record first. There are some very good ones out there that won't even start that low.

Then as profits increased I would ask for a raise.

Profits??!!! Pray tell, what profits do clubs earn??? None, as I could tell after running a club for over a year, and seeing the experience of my friends who have run clubs (most folded after a month or two).

Yeahhh.. I've ran a club, on and off, for awhile now on SL.. And have been employed in a few. Clubs rarely make profits unless you give like 80% or less of tips, or charge alot for some extra features. Frankly, making a profit just doesn't seem cool Put more into the club! Managers should get paid what they earn. Sure, they 'Manage', but they should be able to Host, Dance, DJ, and do other things meanwhile to earn their keep.

I started on trial at $1,000/week for two weeks and then it went up to $2,000. I did so well that my wages ended up at $3,000/week.
I guess it all depends on what you can afford to pay and what your employee is prepared to accept.
I am back working as a manager at $1,000/week...and I love the stress-free life!

I paid my manager 5k a week, but we were in gchat every day while I was at work and online at night. She had full authority and responsibility when I wasn't in-world.
